3 ways to sneak your summer dress into winter outfit

I’m a big fan of ecologically and economically friendly solutions, whether in life, work or… anywhere actually, and nothing cheers me up more than an amazing piece I bought, that I can wear all year, no matter how hot or rainy (UK says hello) it is outside.

Either it’s pair of sunglasses or jewellery, it’s very easy to adapt it to your outfit. But what do I do with that amazing summer dress I got on massive sale last fall? Well, there’s a solutuion. 3, to be frank.

1. Wear it as the top!

If you are the owner of amazing, buttoned dress, you don’t need to wait till spring to wear it! Simply pair it with highwaisted jeans, boots and nice trench or coat, ideally similar lenght, add personal accents, unbutton from waist down and run the streets!

2.Layer it hard!

Slip dresses are ideal not only for glamorous summer parties, but for layering! Either plain top or turtle neck jumper underneath will create 90’s inspired look, but there is so many ways to layer it – from cardigan and coat on top of a dress, to lether or denim jackets, trenches, oversized blazers. Shoes? Whatever feels right for you – flats or heels, ankle high boots, or tight high boots. If your dress has a split, use it to show off your funky pattern tights.

3. Who can tell?

Layer the summer dress underneath everything, to give your dress a second lie as a… skirt. If your dress is made of really soft, flowy fabric, brak it witch chunky sweater and oversized wool blazer or aviator jacket. In that super masculine combination extra girly accents like heeled sandals or pumps are a MUST!
