5 Christmas approved outfits that will save your life, time and impress everyone

Host or guest – festive period always keeps us extra busy. Either you’re running in the shopping mall, trying to get a last minute present for your in laws, or locking yourself in the kitchen, searching the Internet for hours with hope of finding the easiest recepies that won’t kill anyone.

In, as I like to call it, a Christmas fever time it’s not always easy to come up with a perfect outfit that will impress your mother in law, knock out your co-workers and won’t consist clich√© Christmas jumper (or even worst, onesies (I’ve seen it and cannot unsee)). And in that case, here I come with outfit ideas that will utilise trends from latest seasons and may inspire you to forget about this ugly sweater and level up you game for this Christmas 2019.

midi rules

Midi can be elegant AND sexy at the same time. I especially love the A shaped skirts, as they add more volume to the bottom of silhouette and are slimmer towards your waist, which is the simples yet extremaly effective way to create a desirable hourglass effect. I would style it with an off shoulder top, either looking into your summer wardrobe, or your partners oversized shirt and knee high boots.

midi vol 2

Calf lenght trousers had their big moment at the very beginning of Fall and Christmas is just perfect to re-create this look with slight adjustments to cold temperatures. As these loose fit ‘midi’ trousers are extremaly comfy, be free to add more comfort by pairing them with oversized turtle neck, XXL clutch bag and knee high boots (yet again, as they’re so easy to style with almost anything!).

cropped jacket suit

Cropped jacket has been taking the fashion by storm and as a fan of obersized blazers and boyfriend fit suits, I’m surprised, but I love it. And as suits are traveling way out of the office life to our every day and every occasion situations, I could not skip this look in that post as well. Cropped jacket will work the best with ‘rib cage’ high waisted trousers (don’t have to be from the same set, you can play with colors and patterns there). Styling it with high heels, statement neck lenght earrings and a printed -shirt or satin top with laces will break it’s formal nature and still remain in a boss lady vibe.

total white

Total white looks are just perfect for a Christmas time! Efortless, easy and eye catching. Either if you’re choosing one-player dress, suit or high waisted plazzo trousers and cute cropped cardigan, like Kendall Jenner, there’s no way it could go wrong. There actually is – be careful with the red wine.

leather pants?

Leather pants may be quite controvercial for a family gathering at Christmas, but it’s not undoable if styled with… knits. Oversized jumper tossed in straigh leg leather pants paired with cute kitten heels and chunky jewellery will create my personal favourite Christmas look. If you want to add a little bit of layering, knot sleeves of another jumper in a similar shade around your neck.
