Minimalism is known for its simple, classic and timeless shapes and neutral colors. Although we usually see minimal outfits in shades of nudes, grays and classic black and white, adding a little bit of vibrant colors to minimalistic look does make it stand out.

If you want to achieve Street Style Instagram worthy looks, here are my tips!

Accessories are the best instruments when it comes to any kind of outfits – they are main tools that can help you to dress-up or dress-up any kind of wardrobe piece and usually bring majority of attention. For me shoes and bags are the most personal pieces of outfit and are the best expression of the owner.

one accent

Focusing on one statement color, surrounded by strong basics is an amazing solution if you want to bring someones attention (1st date or job interview). Keep the rest simple and observe the magic!

suit game

Suits, especially oversized, are my weakness and are amazing to build many looks, depending on mood. If you are sick and tired of your classic black tailored suit, there are many options in all game of colors – starting from classic silhouettes, ending at these ‘with a twist’, like the one below. Simple t-shirt and matching or contrasting shoes is an easy and interesting casual outfit.

have fun

Interesting outfit is not the one that is correct or trendy, but the one that expresses your personality. Style has no boundaries – you can even make a sequin skirt or trousers minimal, by styling it with casual jumper or shirt and classic jewellery.

1st Monday in May is reserved for Met Gala. The theme of the exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, as well as red carpet motive is changing every event and this time it did not disappoint – inspiration was took from Susan Sontags’ „Camp: notes on fashion” essay. Camp, by some mistaken with camping, is an exaggerated, plastic and splendid, ironic and humorous style of being way over the extra, known best for Drag Queen, but is dated back in the XVII century!

Some people followed the theme, some probably mistaken invitations from last year, some chose safe outfits, still beautiful but we will focus on the guests that faloowed the theme and served the most interesting looks.

Which look is your favorite? Let me know in the comment section!

May is already there, although the temperature says early March, but my expectations for upcoming weeks are high (I’m praying every day for 20°C) and it’s about the time to refresh some of our wardrobe corners, getting ready for summer 2019!

Since I’ve started educating myself about sustainability and fast fashion, I decided to share my dream lists for every month and to prove, that you don’t need to spend all your money – you just need to realize that chasing trends is not going to make you a stylish women, and be very selective, as yes – some pieces are over £200, but I’m 100% that I would and will wear them more than just 1 season.

1. Nanushka button up belted mini dress in Ivory, £312

This timeless silhouette dress with statement balloon sleeves is just perfect for any day-activity occasions – from coffee with friend to quick grocery run to busy working day. Would work amazing with flat sandals or kitten heeled mules and straw bag!

2. Proenza Shouler Cropped Flare Jeans, £225

I’m a big fan of strong base and these jeans are just the perfect shape, seen on many bloggers and editors – this is a definite ‘trend’ to copy that will stay with us for longer.  My love for skinny jeans is big, but this shape does me well, creating kind of mermaid curvy silhouette and I’m going to stick with it for a while.

3. Cult Gaia bamboo bag, £215

This bag is super adorable and will go well with most of the Spring/Summer looks, adding an interesting touch to even a basic white tee and jeans look. It’s also made of bamboo, which grows much faster than trees, which makes it not only cute but eco-friendly! Double winner!

4. Trademark knotted leather sandals, £180

A good pair of flat sandals is a must have not only for busy summer days but after summer parties! Knot detail makes these Trademark sandals more interesting than any other sandals and they will look amazing with either the dress or jeans above! I would definitely style them with the oversized blue shirt-dress and 70’s inspired sunglasses!

5. Cult Gaia lace-up white top, £320

I’m overly amazed with this top – I don’t know if it’s only me but I’m getting either 70’s hippie vibe or inspiration with medieval times, and as a fan of Game of Thrones I’m obsessed. I would love to wear it with my beloved Topshop midi denim skirt or ripped skinny jeans and heels.
