I know, there is still more than a month to sum up 2018, but my budget has got far overspent, so I decided it’s the perfect time to share products that are my ‘ride or die’.
Although I’m not a big fan of heavy baking, I use loose setting powders in small amount to set my T zone. I set my concealer heavy only for a special occasion, which is not more than twice a year. I tried many of them, and almost all either did not do their job properly, were way to heavy for my preference or dried my undereye area. Many of ‘beauty gurus’ hyped about it and I wasn’t truly convinced, but it’s really worth every penny.
As a big fan of Born This Way Foundation, I needed to try it, and it works wonders. It’s full coverage and it’s still buildable – extra point for those with very dark undereye circles (aka me). Has very gentle sent and big, easy to work with applicator.
Blends in your skin perfectly, it’s rich in pigment yet buildable, in perfect shade for both contouring and bronzing (these two are not the same!). When I first got it, I was surprised by its size and luxurious packaging. If you asked me to pick only few products to use, there would be bronzer mentioned. If you asked me for only one bronzer to use for the rest of my life, it would be O!mega
Just as setting powders, I have tried enormous amount of mascaras with, let’s say not the best results, untill I found that one. Although Charlotte’s website doesn’t claim that this mascara is waterproof, it deals with smudging problem better than any! Doesn’t move during the hottest and most stressful days and has the perfect, deep black color.
I love that lip gloss by its own on my lips, specially during no make-up days or contrasting with really strong eye-wing. It has a very thick, juicy consistency and it’s boosted with coconut oil, which nourishes and softens your lips. Not only looking good but taking care of your lips! Works good on top of the lipstick, but I would suggest applying it with my fingers, as lipstick transports on applicator.
I have a big feeling that 2019 is going to be a year of blush, and I’m well prepared for that. Blush helps you to achieve that vibrant, youthful look, just like 80’s supermodels on the catwalk. I wasn’t a fan of blushes in the past – I wasn’t sure about the shade, where exactly to apply it, but I overcomed my fear and now I can’t imagine a make-up look without a touch of blush. I choose Hourglass one, and I couldn’t do better – it blends perfectly, smooth without unpleasant patches. At first I wasn’t so pleased about my shade choice – Luminous Flush, as I was scared that this bright cold pink shade wouldn’t work well with my skin tone and different types of make-up, but I was so wrong! TIP: If you want to achieve gentle effect, mix it with bronzer.
This is literally the best lipstick I own. Perfect rose-pink shade lipstick looks amazing and compliments even darker skin complexions. And it’s the first matte lipstick that keeps your lips feeling and actually being hydrated. Can’t wait to expand my collection with more amazing shades!
