I’m a strong believer in good investments, and the safest, fashionwise, are of course basics – timeless, effortless and not so boring, as other may think. Yes, basic pieces may not the ones that stand out, but they are a perfect canvas, when it comes to ones that do.
The basics can be easly styled and works perfect with each others as well as with extravagand pieces and balances the look and that’s why I’m obsessed with a good base wardrobe. Another plus is that you don’t have to own a massive collection of the same pair of trousers or blazer – you just have to look for the quality and be smart with your budget.

good jeans

You probably already own a good pair of jeans that does you well. Straight leg ‘editors’ jeans are the latest bloggers choise with many reasons, but most important is that they work just perfect, when it comes to creating ANY look. They will go well with blazer, cute top or your favorite blouse. Try the ones in whites or ecru – they will be perfect base for creating total white outfits, which are huge this season, but still will look cute, when the colder months come.

camel blazer

Camel blazers are just perfect addition to your Summer looks – they will be an amazing cover-up during colder, rainy days and all-night parties. Oversized, boyfriend fit is cute, and personally my favorite (and so comfortable), and you don’t have to spend a little fortune to get one of the great quality – just look in the mens section in high street shops!

white shirt

White shirt has a bad stigma of office-only looks for some people, but can be easly over or under dressed and is perfect for most of casual ocasions, while being extra-easy to style. It looks perfect with denim, compliments tanned skin and is very helpful during ‘I have nothing to wear’ days! If you’re looking for oversized, relaxed fit, just like in blazer case, look in the mens section (or in your patners closet).

slip dress

When I think of Summer, I think of long, warm days and amazing Summer parties on the beach and nothing works better than simple, perfect midi dress. My pick for this summer is a 90’s inspired ivory satin midi on spaghetti straps styled with cute black sandals. Simple yet sexy.

high-waisted shorts

I especially love the ones that’s made 100% of linen – they are super comfottable, breathable. Extra plus is they are much friendlier for enviroment than the cotton ones. You just need to try them with simple white shirt, high heeled sandals and cute cluth!

cami tops

Cami tops are probably the smartest investments, next to jeans and blazer, when it comes to Summer wardrobe basics, as they look extra cute with and sexy at any time of year. During Summer they will look amazing with oversized musculine blazer and neony heels or on its own with ripped jeans and sneakers, but during colder days, paired with chunky cardigan will create an interesting mixture of fabric.

Minimalism is known for its simple, classic and timeless shapes and neutral colors. Although we usually see minimal outfits in shades of nudes, grays and classic black and white, adding a little bit of vibrant colors to minimalistic look does make it stand out.

If you want to achieve Street Style Instagram worthy looks, here are my tips!

accessories

Accessories are the best instruments when it comes to any kind of outfits – they are main tools that can help you to dress-up or dress-up any kind of wardrobe piece and usually bring majority of attention. For me shoes and bags are the most personal pieces of outfit and are the best expression of the owner.

suit game

Suits, especially oversized, are my weakness and are amazing to build many looks, depending on mood. If you are sick and tired of your classic black tailored suit, there are many options in all game of colors – starting from classic silhouettes, ending at these ‘with a twist’, like the one below. Simple t-shirt and matching or contrasting shoes is an easy and interesting casual outfit.

have fun

Interesting outfit is not the one that is correct or trendy, but the one that expresses your personality. Style has no boundaries – you can even make a sequin skirt or trousers minimal, by styling it with casual jumper or shirt and classic jewellery.
